We did it. We finally four out of the USA.
We got our Covid vaccinations just so we could travel (even though we wouldn’t have gotten shots if we stayed out).
We bought our tickets 1 week before we left the USA on June 19th.
Our first stop is Athens Greece. The goal is to start where we left off last year.
In March 2020 we were stuck in Poland the day before we were scheduled to fly out to Greece.
We ended up stuck in Warsaw until May 20th when we had to get the US Consulate to get us out of the country.
Because of Covid, we were only allowed to go back to the USA. Yay. The last place we wanted to be stuck.
Anyway, we were stuck in the states for 13 months and are so excited to resume the life we were meant to lead.
So why not start back at the place we were supposed to go to next?
We said goodbye to Alex, again. It does get easier to say goodbye to the kids each time we leave because we know we will see them again soon. At least that’s what we thought when we said goodbye to Sam January 9, 2020 in Tokyo Japan.
Hopefully this won’t happen with Alex and we also hope we can see Sam again soon. We are all really wanting to see one another.
Stay tuned for more of our adventures and shenanigans.
