I love a good smoothie. I’m not talking about the ones you put sugar in or need whipped cream on top of from your local barista stand. NO! I’m talking about making a nutrient packed, healthy and tasty smoothie that doesn’t feel like a health drink but also gives me some extra nutrients that I can drink with a straw!
This Smoothie is great for the Candida diet or anyone who wants a great tasting and healthy smoothie.
*Banana’s are questionable for sugar content BUT if you are just following the diet to go LOW Sugar then use your best judgement. I need a banana in my smoothies so I use them for texture and flavor.
BTW, Coconut Oil kills Candida yeast overgrowth so, if you can add a little to everything you eat, you will start feeling the effects of following the Candida Diet sooner.
Spinach Berry Smoothie
- 4 Frozen Strawberries
- 3 Blackberries
- 4 Mandarin Orange Slices
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 large handful of Spinach
- 1/2 of a Medium Banana (*You can use this much in a smoothie only!)
- 1 TSP Coconut Oil
- 8oz of Coconut Water
Now, Blend your it all together and Enjoy!
